Dream of the Month

At the start of each month, I will publish here an interesting dream and enough background to demonstrate how it was interpreted. All these dreams are provided by ordinary New Zealanders, with their permission.

This month's dream report

Torrential Rain

I am in a mansion and the walls are running with water. There is torrential rain and wind outside. The rooms are empty and the walls are running with water. The dining room has a ceiling that is concave, bending under the weight of water, seeming to be at breaking point. I am spending my time looking for ways to fix it all.

This dream uses a metaphor from nature to convey the intensity of the dreamer’s grief over a major loss in her life.
