About Margaret Bowater
I am a senior counsellor, working part-time in Birkenhead, Auckland, with a specialty in dreamwork. I offer short-term counselling for people with disturbing dreams; pastoral counselling for life issues; and general supervision.
I use a sliding scale of fees according to circumstances.
I am accredited as a Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst; and an active member of both the NZ Assn of Psycho-therapists and the NZ Assn of Counsellors.
I was Co-Director of the Human Development & Training Institute of NZ for 13 years.
I have an MA in English Language and Literature, and trained first as a teacher.
I am married, a mother and grandmother, a past Playcentre Supervisor; a lifelong Anglican leader, open-minded, interested in pastoral theology.
I have researched and written several books of Family History; and published many articles in professional journals, and two books on Dreamwork.
My hobbies are reading, writing, singing and doing beautiful jigsaw puzzles!
